This website exists to share God’s word and encourage all Christians to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). It is the start of an online platform to access bible studies written and refined by Desmond Nish over his lifetime commitment to the studying of God’s word. Keeping in mind that all bible study is written with man's revelation, the goal of these studies is not to convince you of any viewpoint, but rather to cause you to search the scriptures on various topics and seek revelation as the word becomes written on your heart.

Hebrews 5:12 says “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.” This study unpacks each of the 6 elementary principles of Christ that precede spiritual maturity/perfection: 1. Dead works; 2. Faith toward God; 3. The doctrine of baptisms; 4. Laying on of hands; 5. Resurrection of the dead; and 6. Eternal judgment.

From the age of 5 to 17, I attended school as a boarder where weekly church attendance was compulsory. This resulted in an intense dislike developing in me for anything to do with religion. Things, however, were to change radically when one night at the age of 17 I found Christ as my Personal Saviour in a Gospel Service. In literally one moment of time the dislike had turned into an intense love for God’s people and an insatiable appetite for His wonderful word, which later lead to me producing various studies to assist others in their journey.
Today, after sixty-four years of following Christ, that love and appetite flow unabated as strongly as ever as well as my passion to see the saints equipped “for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…” - Eph 4:12

In Matthew 16:18 Jesus revealed that He was busy taking out of the world a body of people that would belong to Him and through whom He would live and reign. They would be “living stones” built into “a spiritual house, a royal priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” This we would come to know as “the church”.
This study explores the blueprint that God gave us in His Word on how to build His church.
